The Indian Mining & Engineering Journal published since 1961 is now
entering its 50th year of publication.Over all these years,the journal
has sought to serve the Indian Mining Sector through diffusion and
communication of new technologies. MineTech'10,the seminar on
Mining Technology-Extraction.Beneficiation for Safe & Sustainable Development, held at
Bhubaneswar at a critical juncture when the Indian Mining Industry is returning back
to normal after the global slow down effect, could successfully deliberate on important
issues of mining in India.
We honoured Sri B.K.Mohanty(Advisor, SGAT), Sri Rana Som(CMD-NMDC Ltd), Sri R.K.Jain(Member Secy, MP Pollution
Control Board)Sri V.K.Singh, (CMD-NCL); Sri D.C.Garg(CMD-WCL) with Life Time Achievement Awards at MineTECH'10.
Dr Manoj Pradhan received the 1st
Prof H R Anireddy Award for his outstanding contributiuons in Blasting Research.
